I knew at a young age that I wanted to do something in the field of art. I've always enjoyed all things artistic, and I'm constantly creating art projects in my head. Solving problems is something else that I enjoy, making graphic design is a perfect way for me to combine my love of art and visual problem solving.

My work experience includes a creative director stint at The Williams McBride Group in Lexington, Kentucky.  I also worked for Kleidon & Associates in Akron, Ohio. Currently, I'm a Visiting Assistant Professor of Graphic Design in the Art and Art History Department at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, where I teach Foundations of Graphic Design, Graphic Design 1 and 2, Typography, Typography II, Package Design and Graphic Design Portfolio.

I have a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from The University of Akron with minors in Drawing and Illustration and an M.F.A. in Graphic Design from Kent State University.
